Stamp Club July

Since school starts in just a few weeks I thought a school theme for our projects would be fun.



We made a backpack, tiny clipboard, book box, and bookmark.




I also handed out a Student Survival Kit print out to use if they wanted.

Student Survival Kit
Pen/Pencil – choose the “write” even if it isn’t the easy choice.
Eraser - remember you can always correct your mistakes.
Hugs – for those rough days when you really could use a hug.
Glue stick – stick to your goals and you can accomplish anything.
Gum – “chews” good friends, it can make all the difference.

You could fill the backpack with any "survival kit."
A smore's kit or trail mix would be cute with a camping theme.
It would make a super cute teacher giftbag or to hold a gift card and a few goodies for a kid heading off to college.
You could decorate this fun little backpack with just about any theme.

I made the backpack template just wide enough to fit our tiny clipboard.



This cute little book box is the perfect size for a giftcard and a few treats.




You could fit a small gift inside such as the bookmark we made.



We had a wonderful time at our Stamp Club. We laughed the whole time. It's great. If you are interested in joining our stamp club send me an email and I'll get you all the details.

Random Cuteness

We made cute mini albums at the stamp club meeting this month.

I made these by cutting up old cereal boxes, mac and cheese boxes, granola bar boxes, pretty much any box I got my hands on. Then I ran them through the Big Shot using the Top Note die. I choose some paper and cut those using the Top Note die and adhered them to the chipboard base.

We also recycled spiral wire from old spiral notebooks. We punched holes using the Cropodile and threaded the wire through.

My daughter said I was "going green" because I was reusing so many things but really I just like saving green. :)

I titled my mini album "Random Cuteness" and filled it with random photos of my kids.


Notice the square scallop punch in the pictures? I used it! I cut the squares diagonally and slide them behind the corners of a few of the photos as photo corners. So there is one idea.
I'm really looking forward to seeing every one's ideas for using the scallop square punch!

Not Your Momma's Stampin' Up!

I like to show at my workshops and club meetings that you can use your Stampin' Up products in more than just paper crafting. I like to think outside of the card!

Here's a vase I altered with rub-ons from the Bright Delights rub-on set (113887). I love this rub-on set. The color and theme are awesome! Love the owls, the pear, the tree, everything.

Using the same rub-on set, my sister altered this mug at the last workshop. LOVE it!

The other ladies at the workshop enjoyed making and taking home a super cute mug! Thanks for coming to the workshop. It was so much fun!

Deck the Halls!

I decided to alter a clipboard to use as a countdown to Christmas Day. This was my first altered clipboard and I SO love it. At first I was getting frustrated because it wasn't coming together like I pictured it in my head. The more I worked with it, the more I liked it! It took two days, about 12 hours, to totally complete.

It can be hung on the wall or set on a shelf and because it is a clipboard I'm able to change the photo every year. I flip the tags on the left daily, counting down to Christmas Day. Each tag has a scripture reference so we can read the story of Christ's birth throughout the month.

I thought pink being a new "in" Christmas color was weird at first but I love the Lil' Davis glittery pink chipboard letters that I used here. The bling on the Stampin' Up Christmas tree is so cute. Looks like Christmas lights blinking on the tree!I guess I'm getting an early start on decking the halls for Christmas.Thanks for taking a look and don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
