Journaling reads, "I'm not sure when I started worrying more about making the perfect page instead of enjoying my favorite hobby. What I do know is that it's time to just let go & have fun again. So what if it takes me hours & hours to create one page and it still isn't perfection. It was fun to just create."
I love this paper by Rhonna Farrer. I used lots of "leftover" letters and random buttons, stickers, and stamps. The white swirl is one of those pipe cleaners you use to make crafts as a kid. I really like the look of it. I'll have to try them out again on another layout. The green chipboard square is the leftover after using the chipboard. Because the photo is layered over the chipboard square I raised the photo, stickers, and buttons using foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by to look at my work!

Love this Rachel! Especially the pipe cleaner - Great job!!
Hope you have a happy thanksgiving!
I know what you mean about obsessing about making a project perfect instead of just having fun. I can get that way with my crafts. Love the paper you used here.
Must be nice to have that perfection problem! If I had a little of it, I would have awesome pages like you!
Hi Rachel! I just saw on my blog that you had asked about the metal embellishments. They are by EK Success and called "Architexture" metal building embellishments. I got them marked down at Bog Lots last year. I bet you can find them on ebay for cheap or just google them. There are so many different kinds too.
Hope you had a happy thanksgiving!
The page turned out great. I like the colors and the pipe cleaner was a cute idea. I'll have to use that sometime!
