LOVE Album

I'm so excited that I cut this book out myself using my Cricut! This is how it looked after I cut it. I used chipboard from the packaging of scrapbook paper. The Cricut did not cut all the way through so I still had to handcut a little but it was still much easier. I was even more excited when I realized I didn't have to cute each letter twice by hand. I simply cut the same ones 3 times. It was so fast and easy! The hard part was picking paper! I ended up using a really fun kit I won on Feeling Scrappy. The kit is from the Storyteller's Club called 2 Cool 4 Words. The colors were fun and the kit had some fun embellishments I knew I could use on this project.

My muse showed up around midnight and I didn't want to scare her away so I stayed up until 4:30 am working on this! I'm really happy with how this turned out. I haven't bound the pages yet but this is how it will look all together.

Hi Rachel
Glad you have found your muse again...I like the Idea of your book and how it has turned out...why do wonderful Ideas need finishing at 4am? Why do babies then wake up at 5:20?
I need to confess that I don't generally 'get' the whole scrapping thing..it's only just beginning here in the UK. I never understood the shop-bought-kit bit...but I have thoroughly enjoyed looking through your pages, they are lovely and convey such a vibrant energy of treasured memories...you have swayed me a little and I hope you won't mind me tagging you onto my blog as I'm sure others would love to see your work.
Just let me know if it's a problem.
It's lovely to meet you, may your muse stay close by
