One Little Word - Grow

Grow is the word right now for the one little word challenge. I wasn't planning on making a page for the challenge but this page just came together. Love it when they do that, especially since it doesn't happen often.

Thanks for taking time to take a peek at my work!

Feeling Scrappy is offereing a class on using embellishments. If so, then the Embellish It class is what you need! The Embellish It class is a four week technique course designed to teach and challenge you to use all sorts of embellishments on your layouts! We will be working with all kinds embellishments giving them all a twist to help you create unique scrapbook pages! If you have never taken an online class with Feeling Scrappy then I encourage you to try it.

PLUS embellishments you can make yourself!
The first class I took was the painting class and was very glad I did. It was worth the money, I learned many new techniques, finished quite a few pages, and had so much fun! For more information about the class and how it works click here. Class starts May 6th. I hope you will join us!

A Few New Pages to Share!

A few new pages to share that I did for the challenges on Feeling Scrappy.

I was actually trying to get a picture of Jordan's face but she kept looking down. I just love her long lashes and how beautiful they look in these pics. The challenge Stacey gave us was to use 2 or more pics, monochromatic colors, utilize 'white space,' and include lots of journaling. Well, I didn't journal as much as I planned because I added the small picture last minute. The challenge was fun to do though and I like my page so it's all good. :)

This page is for the Book of Me challenge. I challenged everyone to scrap about their purse. You could focus on what you carry in your purse, your addiction to purses (AMY,lol), your favorite purse, etc. I decided to dump out my purse and write down everything I found. Well, I found some interesting things. One stale french fry, Spider man tattoo, and Transformers DVD, to name a few, lol!

I made this one for the ad challenge. Kari Ann posted two fun ads as inspiration this month! I hope to find time to use the other ad before this month is over.

For the "What's the Word" challenge this month I chose the word time to be the focus of a layout. This was my example.

Thanks for taking time to stop in and peek at my work! Happy scrappin'!
