A Thank You Card...For A Guy

I wanted to make a thank you card for a guy. I had no idea how tough that was going to be. I couldn't add ribbon or flowers or butterflies. It was like making a card with my hands tied behind my back! Searching for some inspiration I went over to Hand Stamp Sentiments to check out the challenge this week. It's a color challenge using Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, and Night of Navy.
I thought these colors would work great on a card for a guy. It ended up being a super simple card using this cute little guy with his megaphone from the hostess stamp set Ain't Love Grand. I used my Blender Pens to color the image.
If you have some crafty time this weekend, you should head over to Hand Stamped Sentiments and play along with the challenge!

This is a great card. I love the way you did so many different touches on the edges of the card. It's so pleasing to the eye. Any man will like this for sure....however, he probably won't appreciate the detail you put it in, right?! Men....I tell ya. My hubby looks at my cards and goes "oh yeah, I guess that's nice." Oh well. :) I think your card is fab!! Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Rachel, this is so adorable! It is really simple, I forget that simple cards can pack a punch-this one does. It really conveys a fun, colorful mood. I was giggling about your not being able to add flowers or butterflies:)
