I've been scrapping my booty off working on layouts for the Sketch-a-palooza at
Feeling Scrappy! I finished 3 pages in just one day, which is pretty amazing for me! See what a sketch can do for you! I can't show anything until after the Sketch-a-palooza starting March 3rd! Can't wait to share them with everyone! If you haven't signed up for the class you still have time. So many great sketches to work with and a group of fun ladies to help keep you motivated and inspired. You can find some
sneak peeks of the examples the Design Team at Feeling Scrappy has been working so hard to provide as inspiration for each sketch.
Back to the point, I finally finished a layout for the Member of the Month challenge this month, just in the nick of time! Nothing better than a deadline to get me motivated. Which is another reason I love challenges. They always give me the push I need to get something done! Well, here it is. It took me FOREVER to totally finish up with all of the finishing touches but I think it was well worth the time and effort. What do you think?
Lots of wonderful MM products. My favorite eye candy right now! I used 12x12 Audrey Scalloped Ledger paper, 2 {note}worthy spiral notebook pages, chipboard buttons, epoxy shapes, and printed blossoms.
The butterfly is a free clipart graphic I found searching on Google. I printed out the butterflies in 3 different sizes on white cardstock and colored them with chalks. I folded them at the wings and attached them with a strong adhesive just on the body so it looks as if they simply landed on the page.I cut all of the letters with my Cricut using Plantin Schoolbook cartridge in a variety of sizes and colors, using the real size dial feature on some of the letters.
I hand stitched the butterfly trails across the page. It was my first time hand stitching on a layout. It was so easy and I love the texture it adds. Definitely seeing that on more of my pages!
Thanks for dropping in and taking a peek at my work!

Just stunning! Well worth the effort!!
WOW!! Love this Rachel. I love the journaling, it's my favorite part. What a wonderful testimony to leave for posterity. GREAT JOB!!
I have been soooo busy. First we were all sick, now my scrap area had to be moved to check for rotten flooring. Thankfully it was all right, but now I have to put everything back and get my space back in order. We did have to tear up the utility room floor so we have no hot water and all the appliances are sitting in my dining room. So not really in the mood for scrapping at the moment. I can't wait to get back to it though. Thanks for all your great layouts and ideas.
